What the quote form does
When you complete the quote form, the website validates the fields in your browser and sends the request to a protected same-site endpoint for a second validation and abuse-prevention check. The endpoint does not store the request. If it passes, the site prepares an email draft addressed to quotes@photovoltix.example. Your email application must open and you must press Send. The website does not claim that an email was delivered.
What information you choose to provide
The form asks for your name, email, phone number, location, roof type, and approximate monthly electricity bill. The contact consent checkbox is required before the draft can be prepared. The separate updates checkbox is optional. A hidden anti-bot field is used to reject simple automated submissions.
Optional updates
If you select the optional mailing-list checkbox, that choice is included in the email draft. An actual mailing list should not be connected until the owner selects a provider and documents how unsubscribe requests will work.
How abuse prevention works
Quote preparation is limited by client address for a short window, and oversized or invalid requests are rejected. This is a best-effort protection for the current email-draft bridge; it is not a promise that an email client or an outside service cannot be misused.
